Sensational Nigerian musician BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has stated that he was astonished when he was revealed as the winner of the 2022 Headies Next Rated award.
The ‘Finesse’ singer defeated industry competitor Ruger and others to win the prestigious accolade and a brand new Bentley Bentayga SUV star prize.
He stated that he purchased a car as a consolation prize before the event.
The music artist made the revelation in a recent interview with Hip TV.
BNXN said, “I was really stunned [winning a Bentley], mainly because I wasn’t expecting it. I thought it would take me a longer time to get a Bentley. I just got a car before that award show because I didn’t want to be pressured by losing the car (Bentley) or not. So, I had to buy another car separately to compensate myself.

“But when I won, I was really stunned. Even when they shipped it and brought it to Lagos, it was another, ‘Wow! It’s right here.’
I was really excited.”
